ARMCDH organizes the White Nights Festival for Cinema and Human Rights

The Association of Mediterranean Meetings of Cinema and Human Rights (ARMCDH) organized the seventh edition of the White Nights Festival for Cinema and Human Rights on 29 and 30 June 2018 in the courtyard of the National Library of the Kingdom of Morocco in Rabat on the theme “The right to health”.

The festival dealt with the right to health as one of the cornerstones of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (art. 25) and the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ICESCR), from a cinematic point of view through a full-night film dealing with various health-related issues, to be followed on the following day by a round table of experts and institutional and stakeholders.

The White Nights of Cinema and the Right to Health took place on June 29, 2018, with an evening of open air screenings open to the public from 20:45 until the sunrise. The White Night Program included short and feature films from six countries (Lebanon, Morocco, Italy, United Kingdom, South Africa, France).
