Razan Mohamed is a Sudanese journalist, storyteller, and filmmaker based in Dubai. She graduated from the American University in Dubai with a major in Journalism and a minor in Politics and Middle Eastern Studies. With a passion for culture, political economy, and feminist issues, Razan directed and produced two powerful short documentaries: one exploring the female menstruation experience in the Arab world, and the other focusing on women’s labor in Darfur as a result of the war in Sudan. Her work has been showcased in major cities, from her hometown Khartoum and Cairo to Los Angeles, London, and Berlin, reflecting her commitment to impactful storytelling and social advocacy
