Karama Jordan Signs a Cooperation Agreement with Gaza and Jerusalem Film Festivals
Karama Human Rights Film Festival – Jordan, organized by Ma3mal 612 Think Factory, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Gaza International Festival for Women’s Cinema and the Jerusalem International Film Festival.
The partnership aims to strengthen Arab cultural and cinematic cooperation, expand collaboration in human rights filmmaking, support emerging filmmakers, and create new opportunities for exchanging films, screening rights, expertise, and festival programming.
Sawsan Darwaza emphasized that cinema has become a universal language for defending human dignity and bringing the stories of communities to wider audiences. She added that the partnership reflects a shared commitment to promoting independent human rights cinema and strengthening cooperation among Arab film institutions.
Ma3mal 612 Think Factory also welcomed the Gaza International Festival for Women’s Cinema and the Jerusalem International Film Festival as guest partners of ANHAR – Arab Network for Human Rights Films.
