Preparation for the Cultural Association for Film Work, Action 216 in Tunis

Violence, Why?” is the title of the Cinema Caravan event in its second season, which will take place over 03 months, starting from February 2022 in 17 prison units and 04 reform centers, which will host film screenings and dialogue sessions, provided by the work team, centered on the Violence distributed throughout the Republic. Target age group: from 20 to 40 years.

The Caravan is represented in the screening of films aimed at spreading the culture of human rights in closed spaces: prison units and reform centers returning to the General Authority for Prisons and Reform. The Caravan is a joint work between the World Organization against Torture, Tunis Office, the General Authority for Prisons and Reform, the Cultural Association for Film Work, and ANHAR Network for Human Rights Film Festivals.

An intellectual seminar for the cinema caravan furnished by specialists in sociology and in the field of cinematography in particular, based on a field research through a form distributed to viewers in the screening spaces, in the presence of the organizing body of the caravan and representatives of the reform department of the General Authority for Prisons and Reform.

The launch of the first edition of the Human Rights Film Days will start outside the capital (Nabeul or the island of Djerba) during last week of May 2022 with the theme: The impact of wars on children and women.
