Tunisia: Children’s Cinema Screenings and the Right to Access Culture in Marginalized Areas

Within the framework of cooperation with the “Cinema Tador” project, the Association Culturelle pour le Travail Cinématographique – Action 216 organized cinema screenings dedicated to children in the governorate of Zaghouan on 9 November 2025, in collaboration with the ANHAR – Arab Network for Human Rights Films.

The screenings were accompanied by direct discussions with children focusing on the right to cinema, particularly in areas deprived of movie theaters. These activities are part of a cooperation agreement aimed at reaching marginalized communities, with plans to organize additional screenings in other neighborhoods of the capital, Tunis.
