“Street Cinema” Activity in Gaza

The Palestinian partner revived the “Street Cinema” initiative in Gaza despite the ongoing sensitive and critical circumstances. A series of film screenings took place at the Holst Cultural Theater in the Al-Daraj neighborhood of Gaza City, starting from June 17, 2025.

This activity runs in parallel with discussions with Ma3mal 612 Think Factory, whose “Neighborhood Cinema” project—established in 2020—organizes awareness-raising events in open public spaces. These activities aim to reach wide audiences, especially those living under restrictive conditions such as siege, bombing, curfews due to war or epidemics.
