ANHAR Members Coordinate Film Exchange and Upcoming Festival Programs
ANHAR – Arab Network for Human Rights Films held an online coordination meeting with members and partners from Jordan, Tunisia, Lebanon, Syria, and Morocco.
The meeting focused on exchanging films, programming models, and information related to upcoming human rights film festivals across the region. Participants discussed the programming needs of forthcoming festivals in Tunisia, Beirut, and Morocco.
They also explored opportunities to circulate selected films among ANHAR members and expand access to screening rights, while reviewing challenges including limited funding, changing political and security conditions, and the need for more flexible forms of regional cooperation.
ANHAR members emphasized regular communication, expertise sharing, and coordination of festival calendars and film packages to help independent Arab human rights films reach wider and more diverse audiences.
