Seventh Edition of Mountain Cinema Days in Ain Draham Postponed
The Tourism Guidance Association in Ain Draham and the organizing team of Mountain Cinema Days have announced the postponement of the festival’s seventh edition due to financial difficulties and administrative circumstances beyond the organizers’ control.
The edition was originally scheduled to take place from 11 to 14 June 2026 in Ain Draham, northwestern Tunisia. The organizing team is currently working to identify a new date and review the festival program.
Established in 2017, Mountain Cinema Days has developed into an important cultural event supporting access to cinema outside Tunisia’s capital and major urban centers.
The festival brings together filmmakers, artists, cultural practitioners, and local audiences through screenings, workshops, discussions, exhibitions, musical events, and activities highlighting the cultural and environmental character of the region.
Despite the postponement, the organizers reaffirmed their commitment to preserving the festival and ensuring its continuity.
