Action 612 Association Continues Community Cinema and Awareness Activities
Action 612 Association announced the continuation of its cultural and awareness activities despite challenges, stressing its commitment to respecting participants’ privacy during certain events, particularly screenings held inside a psychiatric hospital in Tunisia, where photos were intentionally not published to protect identities and the nature of the space.
The association is preparing to launch a new series of screenings under the “Cinema Revolves” program, aimed at raising awareness about growing violence in schools following recent incidents that, in some cases, resulted in deaths.
The program includes screenings in Kef Governorate, including White Rage, alongside a series of short films produced and directed by Tareq Rimawi, while respecting all screening and broadcasting rights.
The association also continues its cooperation with the World Organisation Against Torture through screenings and awareness activities, which will conclude in June with a special closing event summarizing the project’s key milestones.
These programs target children at risk and seek to use cinema as a tool for awareness, dialogue, and promoting human rights and nonviolence within society.
