Synopsis
Pressured into an arranged marriage, Faten is disillusioned by notions of love. On returning to her hometown in South-Lebanon, a newfound outlook opens her up to a freedom that transcends expectations.

About the director
Layla Menhem was born in 1994 in Montreal. After completing a BA in audiovisual studies at IESAV in Beirut, she enrolls for a MA in directing at La Sorbonne in Paris and graduates in 2020. She is the co-director of the film Love in Galilee.
Nader Chalhoub was born in 1994 in Tunis. After completing a BA in audiovisual studies at IESAV in Beirut, he enrolls in the cinematography department at La Fémis in Paris and graduates in 2021. Love in Galilee is his graduation film.
